From private dining to reservations, live music to special menus here's everything our guests most often wish to know.Can I make a reservation?
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and do not take reservations. Feel free to call us at 530-541-2985 to check current wait times before your visit.
How does your waitlist work?
If we don't have any tables available when you arrive, we'll gladly add your group to our waitlist. You'll receive a text message confirming that you've been added, along with an approximate wait time.
When your table is ready, we'll send another text. You'll have 7 minutes to return to the restaurant before the table is offered to the next party in line.
If you change your mind, you can cancel via text. You can also reply to let us know you're on your way - this really helps us manage seating more efficiently.
Please note: Your entire party must be present in order to be seated.
Can you host events like rehearsal dinners, birthdays, or company retreats?
We love celebrating special occasions with our guests! While we don't have a private event space, we have plenty of experience hosting group events of all kinds. To inquire about availability and event details, please fill out our Private Event Form, and our team will get back to you promptly.
Where can I park?
The closest option is the city-owned parking garage located behind the Marriott. For current rates, please visit the City's Parking Garage page. If you're joining us for dinner, discounted evening rates apply after 5 PM. Azul does not validate parking at the garage.

Street parking is also available, but please note: street parking is prohibited during snow removal operations.
Is your restaurant dog-friendly?
We follow health code regulations, so only service animals are allowed inside the restaurant. However, well-behaved dogs are always welcome on our patio! Please keep your furry friends leashed and under control to ensure a great experience for all guests.
Do you have live music?
Yes! One of the highlights of Azul is our live music on the patio. You can usually catch performances during lunch and dinner (weather permitting). For our current music schedule, check out: tahoemusic.live
How can I place a To-Go order?
We offer a convenient online ordering system for all takeout orders under $300: Order Online
You're also welcome to place a To-Go order in person at the bar. We do not offer delivery.

Do you offer catering?
We don't offer traditional catering services, but we do have a large To-Go Taco Bar that's customized for parties of various sizes.
You can pick it up at our location, or we offer delivery within South Lake Tahoe for a $150 fee.

Are you open on holidays?
Yes, we're open on all major holidays! Please note that on Thanksgiving Day, we're open for lunch only.
Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes! We have a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and more. Our rice and beans are also made without any lard or animal-based products. Be sure to let your server know about any dietary preferences or restrictions—our team will be happy to guide you through the best options on our menu.
Are you celiac- or allergy-friendly?
At Azul, we take food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. While we offer many gluten-free options, please note that gluten is processed in our kitchen. The same applies to dairy, eggs, shellfish, and fish. We do not use any peanuts or tree nuts in our kitchen.
Our team makes every effort to avoid cross-contamination, but due to shared cooking surfaces, including our fryer (which is not gluten-free), we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. Unfortunately, if you have a severe allergy we do not recommend you eat here.

What tequila options do you offer?
We have over 100 tequilas to explore—something for every taste and budget! Our collection includes small-batch, additive-free brands like Fortaleza, a full selection of Clase Azul, and the largest mezcal selection in Tahoe. Whether you're a tequila enthusiast or a curious newcomer, there's a perfect pour waiting for you.
Where are you located?
You'll find us at the corner of Lake Tahoe Blvd and Heavenly Village Way, across the street from Target Shopping Complex. Look for our blue umbrellas (out during the warmer months), cozy firepit, and live music stage—they're hard to miss!
Are you affiliated with any other restaurants?
Yes! Azul is part of the Tahoe Restaurant Group, which also includes three other popular restaurants in the Tahoe Basin:
